Roadmap
The KOSÉ Group’s medium to long-term vision called Vision for Lifelong Beauty Partner has the goal of advancing the group to the next stage of growth. This includes a roadmap with three phases for accomplishing the vision:
- Completion of structural reforms and rebuilding an infrastructure (Phase I)
- Shift to a continuous and sound growth spiral (Phase II)
- Evolution to become a global company (Phase III).
KOSÉ plans to become a global company by achieving the medium-term strategic objectives and numerical targets established for the 2030 milestone year.
Concept
Vision for Lifelong Beauty Partner – Milestone2030 is centered on KOSÉ’s purpose: Create a culture and values embodying a distinctive beauty through a sophisticated fusion of sensuousness and intelligence. In pursuit of this purpose, we have established a new vision: Your Lifelong Beauty Partner.
We want to be a source of diverse options for beauty to enable people worldwide to find the best ways to express their unique charm throughout their lives. By serving as a lifelong beauty partner, we are firmly committed to using the power of beauty to be a provider of color and brilliance throughout one’s life, which is the spirit that has guided KOSÉ since its inception.
We aim for the growth of our corporate value by building even longer and deeper relationships with customers, business partners, employees, people worldwide including future generations, and the beauty of nature.
To accomplish our vision of Your Lifelong Beauty Partner, the mindset and strengths shared by the entire group have been redefined as “Belief.” With this “Belief” as the foundation of our corporate activities, the first goal is to achieve the Milestone2030 medium-term strategic targets.
The medium-term strategy centers on optimizing business growth to suit each region's unique needs worldwide. To this end, we will establish a powerful base for business operations and an even more prominent market profile in Japan to create reliable growth resources. These resources will be invested in global initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable growth.
In line with this concept, we will enhance each initiative by integrating our Sustainability Strategy—which combines business activities with social and environmental sustainability—with efforts in the Value Creation (three strategies : R&D, manufacturing, and human resources) and the Stronger Infrastructure (two strategies : IT/digital and financial).
Supported by these initiatives, we will focus on three core strategies—Business, Customer, and Regional—to deliver diverse beauty values to customers around the world.
