KOSÉ Group Biodiversity Policy

Our beautiful Earth is the source of a healthy life for all of us. Cosmetics contain many ingredients derived from nature, including water, and we benefit from the natural environment every day as we conduct our business. We recognize that conserving and restoring biodiversity is a serious management issue, and we have established the following "KOSÉ Group Biodiversity Policy" to promote biodiversity-conscious business activities.

• We will grasp the dependence and impact on biodiversity throughout our value chain, and work to avoid or mitigate the negative impacts of our business activities, as well as to restore and regenerate it.
• We will work in harmony with the natural environment and ecosystems of the regions in which we operate, and engage in activities that lead to the conservation of biodiversity in cooperation and collaboration with all stakeholders.
• We will promote the provision of products with less impact on biodiversity and the development of technologies throughout the product life cycle, from procurement to disposal and recycling.
• We will comply with laws, regulations, and treaties in Japan and overseas.
• We will disclose information and initiatives related to biodiversity.
• We will raise employee awareness of biodiversity through education and awareness-raising initiatives.

We will continue to contribute to the realization of a nature positive and symbiotic society, aiming to achieve both a sustainable society and business growth.
