Establishing skincare as a habit from early childhood has the potential to help prevent conditions such as atopic dermatitis, which can in turn enhance people’s quality of life.
At KOSÉ, we engage in joint research with medical institutions, and have developed a skincare formulation that is safe for newborns from three days old onwards. We have also found that skin moisture content increases in all parts of the body when use continues for an additional four months afterwards.
We will continue to carry out research building on these results with the aim of demonstrating the effects of establishing skincare as a habit during children’s development in terms of quality of life and allergy prevention. With this unique technology, DECORTÉ’s “Micro Balm Lotion” has a lotion-like texture without being sticky, yet provides a smooth, protective layer that shields your skin from dryness and friction. This multifunctional lotion is easy to use for people of all ages and genders who start skincare for the first time.

Skin barrier function is important to maintain healthy skin. We have discovered one of the factors that deteriorate this barrier function -- Malformed ceramides. This is a change in the form of ceramide, an ingredient that fills gaps in the skin, which creates "moisture gaps" that are easy to dry out. We also found that an ingredient called "acetyl amino acid" is effective in suppressing the generation of bad ceramides.
This knowledge is applied to ONE BY KOSÉ's "Serum Veil Deep Repair.“ We will contribute to improving the quality of life of all people by supporting healthy skin that changes with each individual's lifestyle and environment.


“No matter how beautifully my makeup is done, it will come off.” At KOSÉ, we are developing technologies that address the needs of our customers. To date, we have developed “Make Keep Mist,” a sweat-resistant, two-layer type mist that prevents makeup from coming off, and the product has led the market with its high functionality and ease of use. In order to further enhance the effect of preventing the makeup from “becoming patchy” by facial movements over time, we have developed “cross-linked MQ Resin,” a new material that creates tough yet flexible coating layer. This also leads to the formation of a highly uniform coating film and a quality that does not feel burdensome even when worn for long periods of time. The new material has been applied to the renewal of this product.
